McCarthy builds roster with Latisha Wilson

FRESNO, Calif. -Â Â Fresno State women's basketball and head coach Ryan McCarthy announced the next signee for the 2026-27 roster with Latisha Wilson on Tuesday afternoon.Â
Wilson comes to Fresno after spending two seasons at Midland College. The six-foot-four forward comes to the Valley with two years of eligibility remaining. The Australian native totaled 58 games played with 40 starts and 438 points while shooting a career 42% from the field at Midland. In her sophomore campaign with the Chaps, Wilson posted 29 starts, shooting 40% from the field and 72% from the free throw line while logging 280 points and 152 rebounds.Â
"Latisha rounds out our recruiting class and is the exact position we were looking for, giving us a strong post presence with great length and can score at all 3 levels," said coach McCarthy "Her best basketball is ahead of her and we are excited to see her reach her potential."
Wilson joins returning Bulldogs Ava Marr, Makenzie Sirowich, Briana Webb and Ashlyn Rean. The incoming roster includes Sienna Clark (Rouse Hill HS), Ryleigh Schoonover (Clovis West HS), Rubi Gray (Sacramento State), Jada Hunter (SMC), Zawadi Ogot (LMU) and Lola Donez (Cal).Â
