McCarthy finalizes 2026-27 roster with Mylaena Norton

FRESNO, Calif. - Fresno State women's basketball and head coach Ryan McCarthy announce the final addition to the 2026-27 roster with Mylaena Norton.Â
Norton comes to the Central Valley from Madras, Oregon as a true freshman and attended Redmond High School. At Redmond Norton was a two-time Intermountain Conference (IMC) Player of the Year, grabbing the honor during her junior and senior seasons. In addition, the five-foot-seven guard was named All-State Second Team as a junior and All-State First-Team her senior year.Â
Norton caps off the fifteen player roster, becoming the fourth true freshman alongside Sienna Clark (Sydney, Australia), Ella Barmentloo (Perth, Australia) and Rylee Schoonover (Porterville, Calif.).Â
