Bulldogs announce 2026-27 equestrian schedule

FRESNO, Calif. – Fresno State head equestrian coach Eric Hubbard announced the Bulldogs' 2026-27 competition schedule on Friday, highlighted by five home meets, six regular-season road contests, and another challenging slate against many of the nation's top programs.
The Bulldogs will enter their eighth season in the Big 12 and 30th as a varsity sport at Fresno State. The schedule includes home-and-home matchups with conference opponents TCU, Baylor and Oklahoma State. Fresno State will also travel to face SEC foes South Carolina, Georgia and Auburn during a three-meet road swing in late October. Fresno State will open that trip against the defending NCEA National Champion in the Gamecocks.
Fresno State opens the season with its annual Red vs Blue scrimmage on Sept. 26 before beginning regular-season competition on the road at TCU on Oct. 8 in Burleson, Texas. The Bulldogs remain in the Lone Star State the following day to take on Baylor in Waco.
The home opener is set for Oct. 17 when Oklahoma State visits Fresno. Fresno State then embarks on a three-meet southeastern road trip, facing South Carolina (Oct. 29), Georgia (Oct. 30) and Auburn (Oct. 31). The Bulldogs return home to close the fall slate against SMU on Nov. 14.
The spring season begins with back-to-back home meets against TCU (Feb. 5) and Delaware State (Feb. 6), followed by a home contest with Baylor on Feb. 20. Fresno State wraps up the regular season on March 5 with a trip to Stillwater, Oklahoma, to face Oklahoma State.
The 2027 Big 12 Equestrian Championship is scheduled for March 26-27 in Waco, Texas, with the 2027 NCEA National Championship slated for April 15-17 in Ocala, Florida.
