FRESNO, Calif. – Fresno State cross country head coach Jason Drake announced the Bulldogs' 2026 competition schedule on Friday, featuring four regular-season meets leading into the program's first postseason campaign as members of the Pac-12 Conference.
The Bulldogs will open the season on Sept. 3 at the Gaucho Twilight, hosted by UC Santa Barbara in Lompoc, California. Fresno State returns to Southern California two weeks later to compete in the Riverside Invitational on Sept. 19.
Fresno State will make its lone trip to the Pacific Northwest on Oct. 3, traveling to Salem, Oregon, for the Charles Bowles Invitational hosted by Willamette University.
The regular season concludes on Oct. 17 at the Bronco Invitational in Sunnyvale, California. The meet has traditionally served as one of the premier opportunities for teams across the West Region to prepare for postseason competition.
The Bulldogs will then begin a new chapter in program history, competing in their first Pac-12 Cross Country Championships on Oct. 30 in Boise, Idaho.
Postseason action continues Nov. 13 at the NCAA West Regional in Sacramento, California. The regional meet will determine qualifiers for the NCAA Championships, scheduled for Nov. 21 in Terre Haute, Indiana.
Fresno State returns several key contributors from last season and will look to build momentum throughout the fall as the Bulldogs embark on their inaugural season of Pac-12 competition.
