Bulldogs open preseason with pair of exhibitions, Red vs. Blue Scrimmage

FRESNO, Calif. – The Fresno State volleyball team is set for a busy week of preseason action, with a pair of exhibitions and its annual Red vs. Blue Scrimmage on the schedule.
The Bulldogs will open the week on the road Saturday, Aug. 15, traveling to face UC Santa Barbara in an exhibition match. First serve is set for noon PT at the Thunderdome on the UC Santa Barbara campus.
Fresno State returns home Tuesday, Aug. 18 at 6 p.m. PT for the annual Red vs. Blue Scrimmage, giving the Red Wave its first opportunity to see the entire 2026 squad in action at the Save Mart Center. The scrimmage is free and open to the public, with fans invited to meet the Bulldogs during a post-match autograph session.
The Bulldogs will close out their preseason slate on Saturday, Aug. 22, when they host Cal Baptist in their final exhibition before the 2026 regular season. First serve is scheduled for 11 a.m. PT in the North Gym, and admission is free.
The 2026 season officially begins on Aug. 28 as the Bulldogs head to Ohio State for the Jim Stone Classic.
