Julia Deming elevated to associate head coach

FRESNO, Calif. - Fresno State women's tennis head coach Denise Dy announces Julia Deming as associate head coach on Monday afternoon.Â
In her first three seasons at Fresno State, Deming has assisted the 'Dogs an undefeated conference home record, four appearances in the ITA Top 75 team rankings and four All-MW selections.Â
"Elevating her to associate head coach is a well-deserved recognition of the standard of excellence she sets for our program every single day," said head coach Denise Dy "She has been a cornerstone of our program. Her leadership, work ethic, and commitment to student-athlete success make her invaluable to our team, and I could not be more thrilled for her to step into this expanded role."Â
Prior to her time with Fresno State Deming, played collegiately at the University of Kansas (2018-2021), where she received a full-ride scholarship. While at Kansas, she earned 2021 Academic All-Big 12 (First Team) her senior year.
Deming graduated from the University of Kansas with a bachelor's degree in sports management and has earned her graduate degree in Health Education and Psychology of Physical Activity this year.Â
