Former 'Dogs sign professional contracts to play overseas

FRESNO, Calif. – Former Fresno State women's basketball players Emilia Long and Hedda Koehne have signed professional contracts to continue their basketball careers overseas. Long has signed with Flamurtari Vlorë of the Albanian Superliga, while Koehne has signed with CSJ Teleorman of Romania's Liga 1.
Long and Koehne each spent their final year of eligibility at Fresno State after transferring from the University of Alaska Anchorage. The former Bulldogs made an immediate impact. Long earned All-Mountain West honorable mention, surpassed 1,000 career points and led the team in five statistical categories. Koehne was a consistent presence on the court, appearing in 32 games for the Bulldogs.
