2016-17 (Senior): Played in a career-high nine tournaments and 27 rounds as a fifth-year senior … posted a 79.67 scoring average (8.44 vs. par) … posted career single-round low and three-round low at the Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate with a 77-73-75=225 at the par 72 Classic Club in Palm Desert, Calif. … tallied 33 birdies … named to Mountain West All-Academic team.
2015-16 (Junior): Played in one tournament during the 2015-16 season – participated as an individual at the home-hosted Nick Watney Invitational (Oct. 5-6) … fired a personal-best 3-over-par 74 as a Bulldog during the second round of the Nick Watney Invitational – finished 78th with a 19-over-par 232 ... named a Mountain West scholar athlete.
2014-15 (Sophomore): Joined team in January as a midseason transfer ... participated in one spring tournament ... carded a 78-75-83--236 at the El Macero Classic (par 72, El Macero CC) on April 10-12 ... named a Mountain West scholar athlete.
Prior to Fresno State: Used redshirt during the 2012-13 season ... competed in one tournament as a redshirt freshman (2013-14) - at the Arizona Intercollegiate - he fired an 81-79-85 in the three round tournament.
High School: Neal went to Pacific after putting together a stellar career at Lemoore High School. The 2011 and 2012 Hanford Sentinel's All-Kings County Boys Golfer of the Year, Neal was the dominant golfer in the West Yosemite League (WYL) for four years since storming onto the scene as just a freshman. A three-time WYL individual title winner, Neal has guided his Tigers to four-straight WYL team championships, the first four in school history for the boy's golf program. As a senior, Cody led Lemoore to the Central Area team title, placing first individually for the second year in a row with a 69. Neal set West Yosemite League records for scoring average with 69.2 average.
