Fresno State Holds Student Art Contest

FRESNO, Calif. - Fresno State is holding a football-theme art contest for kindergarten through 12th grade students. Students are asked to draw a picture or symbol of a Fresno State football game, incorporating the words Fresno State or Bulldogs.
Six winning pictures will be chosen and printed on one of the six home game tickets for season ticket distribution. The winners will also have their name and school printed on the tickets along with their artwork. The winners and their family will be Fresno State guests at the game their ticket artwork appeared and winners will be introduced on the field and receive a framed picture of their ticket and artwork. In addition, winners will receive one large pizza every month for a year, compliments of Me-N-Ed's Pizza Parlors, and one case of Pepsi product every month for a year.
To enter the contest, students must be in grades kindergarten-12th grade. The drawing should be on a 8-1/2" X 11" sheet of white paper and use the word Fresno State or Bulldogs. Artwork must be drawn by hand, no computer illustrations. On the back of the drawing, students must print their name, address, home phone, age, school and optional email. Artwork should be turned in to participating Me-N-Ed's Pizza Parlor's on or before 7:00 p.m. on Monday, May 7, 2001. Winners will be notified by mail or email.
