A Bid For The Bulldogs Auction Scheduled For June 5

FRESNO, Calif.- The 2004 "A Bid For The Bulldogs" auction, Fresno State's annual fundraising event benefiting Bulldog athletics, has been scheduled for Saturday, June 5, at the Save Mart Center.The evening begins with a silent auction from 5 p.m.-6:30 p.m., followed by a dinner buffet at 6:30 p.m. The post-dinner entertainment for the evening features a performance from comedian Paula Poundstone and a live auction wraps up the night's events.
This year's auction features a variety of items including domestic and international travel, household and business goods and services, gift certificates and much more. John Wallace, Central California's best-known journalist, will serve as the celebrity host for the evening.
All proceeds from the night support the Fresno State Athletics Department. Tickets are priced at $75 and $25 and are now available by calling Norma Barnes in the Fresno State Marketing Office at (559) 244-2800.
