Bid for the Bulldogs Scheduled for June 29

FRESNO, Calif. - Cruises, international trips and entertainment by award-winning Roy Firestone are just some of the highlights of the annual Bid for the Bulldogs, scheduled for Saturday, June 29, at Bulldog Diamond.
The evening begins at 5:30 p.m. with a silent auction at the North Gym. A catered dinner will get underway at Bulldog Diamond at 7 p.m., with Firestone's performance beginning at 8 p.m. The evening wraps up with a live auction.
Some of the packages on which those attending will have an opportunity to bid are:
- Cruises: Australia, Hawaii, Iceland and Tahiti (packaged with airfare)
- International travel: Australia, Canada, Mexico, Caribbean and Europe
- Domestic travel: Hotel and airfare to Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Hawaii, New Orleans, New York and Texas
- Hotel stays: Ritz-Carlton, Marriott Hotels, The Plaza New York and Hyatt Regency
- Golf: Private clubs in Fresno, Las Vegas and Palm Springs
Firestone, who has interviewed more than 5,000 celebrities and is a seven-time Emmy Award winning ESPN talk show host, has performed before organizations such as USA Today, Toyota, Cadillac, Quaker Oats, the Olympic Games, Anheuser-Busch and Chevron. He is also an accomplished singer and stand-up comedian who will entertain the crowd at Bulldog Diamond.
All proceeds from the night support the Fresno State Athletics Department.
