Fresno State Launches On-line Ticket Office

FRESNO, Calif. - The Fresno State department of athletics has announced the launch of its online ticket office beginning today. Consumers will now be able to purchase tickets to all Fresno State athletics event over the Internet at the official website of Fresno State athletics, www.gobulldogs.com
"We feel like this will be a very useful tool for all Bulldogs fans," said tickets director Scott Wetherbee. "Instead of driving over to our office and waiting in long lines, people may just sit down in the comfort of their own homes and purchase tickets on their computer."
Those wishing to purchase tickets should go to www.gobulldogs.com and click on the "tickets" button in the left-hand sidebar. From there, users will have an opportunity to choose which sport for which they want to buy tickets. Users will also get to pick the location and number of the tickets they are purchasing. Tickets may then be charged to a credit card and mailed to the home of the purchaser or picked up at the event.
"As technology and the popularity of our website has increased, so has the need for us to offer this service," athletics director Al Bohl said. "I think our fans will find it incredibly easy to use and convenient."
The Fresno State athletics website attracts over 200,000 hits per month and contains comprehensive coverage of all 20 Bulldogs varsity sports. Releases, game stories and audio/video highlights are posted daily, and schedules, rosters, biographical information on student-athletes, the online Bulldog Shop and event information is also available.
