Fresno State Athletics Carry Torch for American Red Cross

FRESNO, Calif. - Various Fresno State athletic teams and its coaches will be out in force tomorrow afternoon in a fund drive effort for the American Red Cross, which is being held at Lowe's (Blackstone and Alluvial).
The American Red Cross is asking for monetary donations to support the New York City and Washington D.C . relief effort.
"This is an opportunity for the Valley to come out and meet the immediate need for monetary help," said Interim Athletics Director Scott Johnson. "We're very proud of the Red Wave, our student-athletes and coaches. With all the support shown to us, we want to do everything we can to help out our fellow American citizens."
The American Red Cross fund drive will be held in the Lowe's parking lot from 6:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. Cash, checks and money orders are all welcomed.
