FRESNO, Calif. - Due to the change of date in the Boise State football game, the Fresno State Athletics Department is offering an exchange program for football season ticket holders.
This offers allows those season ticket holders who won't be able to attend the Boise State game to exchange each season ticket for a voucher for four tickets to any game for any sport other than football and men's basketball. Exchanges must be made through the athletics ticket office by Wednesday, Oct. 17, at 6 p.m.
"We understand that this game change has created an inconvenience for our season ticket holders," said Fresno State Interim Athletics Director Scott Johnson. "We are sympathetic to those who won't be able to attend. This exchange offer will allow our fans a chance to get more than full value for the price of their football tickets."
According to athletics ticket manager Scott Wetherbee, less than 500 tickets remain for the Boise State game, which was moved to Oct. 19 at 5 p.m. to accommodate a national television broadcast on ESPN.
Wetherbee also said the athletics ticket office will be closed Thursday and Friday due to the Billy Graham Crusade at Bulldog Stadium. Fans can still order tickets online at www.gobulldogs.com during that time.
In addition, tickets for the Preseason NIT men's basketball games at Selland Arena are available through the ticket office. The Bulldogs open the season hosting Montana State in the Preseason NIT on Nov. 13. Should the Bulldogs win, they would play the winner of the USC vs. Wyoming game. That game could be also be played at Selland Arena.
