FRESNO, Calif. - The Fresno State Athletics Department will host grand opening festivities for the Bulldog Shop's new location in the Save Mart Center on Thursday.
The shop is located on the northeast corner of the Save Mart Center and will be open from 10 a.m. through the conclusion of the women's basketball game. A formal ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place at 4 p.m., and fans are encouraged to attend.
"We are excited to be opening the second Bulldog Shop," Athletics Director Scott Johnson. "The Save Mart Center is a great location for it. I think it's a great way to accommodate our fans at two locations on campus and allows us to better serve our fans at both Fresno State and Fresno Falcons events. The new shop adds a great Fresno State flavor to the new arena."
Fans may enter to win a $500 Bulldog Spirit Gift Basket or one of two basketballs autographed by the Bulldog men's and women's coaching staffs. The drawing will be held at the close of business Thursday night. The first 50 fans to visit the Bulldog Shop Thursday will receive a free Bulldog Basketball inaugural season at the Save Mart Center t-shirt. The following 100 fans will receive free Bulldog rally rags.
