First Quarter
• Jaron Bryant ended San Jose State’s opening drive with his third interception in the last two games. It was the Spartans’ second play from scrimmage.
• The Bulldogs like San Jose State, did not produce a first down on its opening drive.
• Fresno State recorded the game’s first, first down on third-and-1, picked up by Josh Hokit’s 4-yard run, 11:13 into the game.
• Fresno State was 2-of-3 on third downs during its second drive. Fresno State totaled four first downs en route to scoring the game’s first points.
• Jordan Mims picked up three yards on fourth-and-1 to extend the Bulldogs’ drive, moving Fresno State to 3-of-5 on the season on fourth downs.

• McMaryion was 10-of-15 for 129 yards in the opening half.

• Jeffrey Allison made a three-yard tackle for a loss on third-and-1, forcing a punt on fourth-and-4 from the Bulldogs’ 47-yard line. It was the fifth Bulldog TFL of the game and brought Allison’s total to 2.5 for the season.
• On the final play of the quarter, Rivers’ 6-yard rush put him over the top for a new season-high in rushing, surpassing 82 set the previous week vs. Nevada. (14 carries, 87 yards).
