Pregame
• Team Captains: Marcus McMaryion, George Helmuth, Jeff Allison and KeeSean Johnson.
• Fresno State won the coin toss and elected to defer. Wyoming opened the game with the ball.
First Quarter
• In his 22nd career game, Patrick Belony received his second career start - replacing an injured Jasad Haynes.
• Fresno State allowed an opening drive score for the first time this season and first time since hosting Boise State on Nov. 25, 2017.
• Fresno State did not manufacture points on its game-opening drive for the second-straight game. The Bulldogs have scored on their opening drive three of six games this season.
• Fresno State started its second drive needing just 35 yards to find the end zone after a 25-yard punt.

• David Tangipa scored his second career touchdown with his third career reception. Tangipa scored on a 3-yard pass from McMaryion. His first career catch was a 3-yard TD pass at Hawaii in 2017. Tangipa’s second career catch and first of 2018 was against Idaho (7 yards).
• McMaryion scored his sixth rushing touchdown of the season to give Fresno State a 27-3 lead – 3:11 remaining.
• Mike Bell recorded his second interception in as many weeks and third of his career to give the Bulldogs their first takeaway of the game with 0:28 left in the third.
• Fresno State led 27-3 at the end of three quarters. Fresno State is 12-1 when leading after three quarters.
GAME
• Saturdays’ meeting was the 13th between the two programs. Fresno State improved it series lead to 7-5.
• Fresno State started conference play 2-0 for the second-straight season and fifth time in seven seasons as members of the Mountain West (2012-14, 2017).
• Fresno State now leads the nation in the most consecutive games not allowing 30 points or less after Wisconsin gave up 38 points to Michigan.
• KeeSean Johnson extended his nation-leading streak of consecutive games with at least one catch to 42 games.
• Fresno State has not allowed a touchdown in two straight games, matching last year’s two-game run shutting out New Mexico 38-0 on Oct. 14 and holding San Diego State to 27-3. Overall, the 2017 defense held opponents out of the end zone for 11-straight quarters starting with the fourth quarter on Oct. 7 at San Jose State until the third quarter on Oct. 28 against UNLV.
• It had been since 1990 that Fresno State held an opponent out of the end zone for two-straight games when the Bulldogs did so in 2017. They’ve now done it in back-to-back seasons.
• Blake Cusick placed four of his five punts inside the 20-yard line; two were inside the 10-yard line. (25, 14, 13, 8, 3)
• Fresno State has registered an interception in four-straight games and in five of the six games this season. The only game the Bulldogs did not record an interception was in Fresno State’s only loss, at Minnesota.
