Pregame
• Team Captains: Marcus McMaryion, George Helmuth, James Bailey and Kyle Riddering.
• Fresno State won the coin toss and elected to defer. New Mexico opened the game with the ball.
• Kickoff Temp: 67 degrees and 10-15 winds.
First Quarter
• The defensive line had a new starting front four in Mykal Walker, Patrick Belony, Jasad Haynes and Kwami Jones.
• Asa Fuller got his first field attempt since Sept. 29 versus Toledo and missed wide-right from 42 yards.
• Asa Fuller connected on his first field goal (30 yards) since the hitting a 28-yarder at UCLA on Sept. 15 to give the Bulldogs a 3-0 lead to open the game.
• Fresno State outgained New Mexico 144-30 in the opening quarter. And owned eight first downs to the Lobos one.
• Fresno State led 10-0 at the end of the first quarter. The Bulldogs have held the first quarter lead in four of seven games, and are 3-0 in the previous three.
• New Mexico was 0-of-3 on third downs in the first quarter.
• Fresno State held time of possession lead 10:01 to 4:59.
Second Quarter
• Mike Bell registered an interception in his third-straight game. It was his fourth interception of his career having owned one entering the 2018 season.
• Fresno State led at the half for the sixth time this season. They entered the game undefeated with a lead this season (5-0).
• KeeSean Johnson caught his fifth touchdown of the season and 21st TD of his career to put Fresno State ahead 24-7 with the PAT. It was a 36-yard score.
• KeeSean Johnson surpassed 100 yards receiving for the third time this season and eighth time of his career. In the first half alone. The last time Johnson recorded over 100 yards in the first half was against New Mexico in 2017. Like tonight, he also had five receptions for 105 yards and a touchdown in the first half in 2017.
• New Mexico broke Fresno State’s run of nine consecutive quarters without allowing a touchdown with 0:57 left in the second quarter.
• Penalties affected the Lobos greatly in the first half, being flagged six times for 90 yards opposed to Fresno State’s four for 25 yards.
Third Quarter
• KeeSean Johnson posted his second two-TD reception game of the season (Toledo) with a 15-yard score to give Fresno State a 31-7 lead with 8:32 left.
• Ronnie Rivers scored for the third time (23-yard reception), his first time finding the end zone three times in one of his career. His previous two were rushing scores (16, 1).
• At the end of three quarters, the 'Dogs led 38-7. Fresno State is 8-0 during the Tedford era when scoring 30+ points.
• Fresno State's 401 yards offense through three quarters was the second-most cumulative yards through three quarters this season (Toledo-500).
• Fresno State was 8-of-12 on third down conversions at the end f the third quarter.
Fourth Quarter
• Fresno State faced one third and long (10+ yards) against New Mexico. It was during the Bulldogs' second-to-last possession of the game.
• Fresno State held New Mexico on fourth-and-goal from the three-yard line with 0:09 second left. It marked the third-straight game in which the Bulldogs shut their opponent out in the second half.
GAME
• Fresno State is now bowl eligible, improving to 6-1 on the season.
• Fresno State extended its winning streaking against New Mexico to seven games, tops for the Bulldogs against any league opponent. Fresno State leads the all-time series 13-4 with Saturday’s win.
• New Mexico’s last win against Fresno State was in 1994.
• Fresno State has won 15 of its last 18 games.
• Fresno State improves to 3-0 in league play for the third time as a member of the Mountain West (joined conference in 2012).

• Jeffrey Allison registered a team-best 10 tackles. He has now led the team in tackles 14 times in 21 career starts. It was his 10th career game with double-digit tackles.
• Ronnie Rivers recorded three total scores (2 rush/1 receiving). A first in his career.
