• UCLA won the coin toss and elected to defer. Fresno State opened the game with the ball.
First Quarter
• KeeSean Johnson extends his nation-leading streak of consecutive games with at least one catch in a game to 39 in the opening drive
• On the Bulldogs' opening drive they were 3-of-3 on third downs on season-long 13-play drive; Fresno State is now 2-of-3 scoring touchdowns on its game-opening drive.
• Fresno State had four first downs on its opening drive.
• Fresno State held UCLA to seven yards on offense on its opening drive. Their one first down was a penalty against Fresno State.
