• Fresno State won the toss and elected to defer to the second half.
• Kickoff Temp: 60 degees.

GAME
• Fresno State’s 206 yards total offense was the lowest under Jeff Tedford, and the lowest since facing Utah State at home on Oct. 10, 2015.
• Scoring 30-plus points in four-straight games, Fresno State’s streak came to a halt. Its seven points was the lowest since being shut out by Colorado State on Nov. 5, 2016.
• Fresno State was held under 100 yards rushing for the third time this season.
• Fresno State drops to 21-4 under Jeff Tedford when scoring first.
• Fresno State committed three turnovers. The Bulldogs had not surrendered three turnovers in a game since its season-opener on Aug. 31 at USC.
• The Bulldogs forced San Diego State into multiple turnovers (2) for the first time this season.
• The Bulldogs forced San Diego State to fumble for the first time this season.
• Fresno State held San Diego State to 0-of-2 on fourth downs. Over the last three games, opponents are 1-of-7.
• Fresno State was 0-for-6 in the first half on third down attempts and 3-of-12 in the game. All three third-down conversion were Reyna scrambles of 10 yards or more.
• Fresno State had four penalties for 25 yards in the first quarter, and seven for 55 yards in the game.
• The Bulldogs started their eighth different combination in 10 games on the offensive line. Bula Schmidt started at center for the first time. He was replaced in the game by Tyrone Sampson due to injury. Left tackle Alex Akingbulu left the game to injury as well, and was replaced by Nick Aibuedefe.
• Starting 41 different players this season, Fresno State entered the game tied for seventh in the FBS in that category. The number rose on Friday to 43 as tight end Jared Torres and defensive end Kwami Jones saw their first starts this season.• Ricky McCoy blocked the first field goal for the Bulldogs since Sept. 1, 2018 at the end of the first half on Friday. It kept the Bulldogs’ deficit to three points, 10-7, going into halftime.
• Fresno State matched its team season-high of eight tackles for loss (Minnesota-8, New Mexico State-8, San Diego State-8).
• Ronnie Rivers extended his scoring streak to six-straight games.
• Zane Pope recorded his longest career catch, a 53-yard reception, in the first quarter that set Fresno State up for its only score.
• Jorge Reyna tossed his first interception since Oct. 26 in the first quarter. He had 56-straight attempts until being intercepted on Friday.
• San Diego State manufactured a season-high three interceptions from Jorge Reyna.
• Mosby recorded his third forced fumble while Alex Cruz recovered his second fumble of the season.
• Chris Gaston recorded his first career interception in the first quarter.
• Justin Rice had a career-high two TFLs.
• Arron Mosby had a career-high 11 tackles.
• San Diego State quarterback Ryan Agnew set a career best in completions (33). Agnew is the second quarterback in as many week to complete 30 passes or better against the Bulldogs. Prior to Jordan Love hitting that mark on Nov. 9, the last time a player completed 30 pass or better against Fresno State was Ty Gangi (Nevada) on Sept. 30, 2017.
• Agnew is the first SDSU player to throw for 300 yards since 2014. A total of 65 games.
• Bula Schmidt started his third game, and played in his fifth game Friday night. Friday was his first start at the center position.
• Chris Gaston started his first game since suffering an injury on Sept. 7 against Minnesota, the second game of the season.
• TE Jared Torres picked up his first career start.
• The winner of the annual Fresno State-San Diego State game has gone on to represent the West Division in the Mountain West Championship game since the inception of the title game in 2013. No other team in the West Division has participated in the MW title game..
