GAME
• Fresno State was eliminated from bowl eligibility for the first time since 2016. The Bulldogs went to six bowl games from 2010-19.
• Fresno State dropped to 16-10 against the Wolf Pack in games in Fresno, and dropped to 5-3 in contests against Nevada in Mountain West games.
• Fresno State entered the game having started seven true freshmen, which ranked tied for the third-most in all of the FBS this year. Freshman wide receiver Josh Kelly made his first start, marking the eighth Bulldog freshman to start in 2019.
• For the first time since 1999, the team that lost the turnover battle won the game between Fresno State and Nevada.
• Under Tedford, Fresno State allowed its opponents to score 30 points or better twice entering the 2019 season (Alabama-2017, Washington-2017). Having Nevada scored 35 points, opponents have scored 30 points or better seven times in 2019.
• For the eighth time in 39 full seasons of football at Bulldog Stadium, Fresno State finished the season below .500.
• Fresno State was 6-of-7 on third down conversions in the first half, and 8-of-14 in the game.
• Fresno State was held under 100 yards rushing for the second consecutive game. It was the fourth time this season the Bulldogs were held under 100 yards rushing (0-4).
• Game of momentum. Nevada scored the first 14 points. Fresno State scored the next 28 points. Nevada scored the final 21 points.
• Jorge Reyna was 16-of-19 for 153 yards and two touchdowns in the first half; he finished the game 27-of-37 for 261 yards and three touchdowns.
• Ronnie Rivers led the team in receptions (8) and receiving yards (88).
• Ronnie Rivers recorded a 34-yard touchdown reception. It matched his career-high for a long reception set last season versus Wyoming. It was his third receiving touchdown of the season and seventh career.
• Ronnie Rivers has found the endzone in seven-straight games, which is every Mountain West contest this season.
• Ben Wooldridge, appearing in the absence of Reyna being injured, tossed a touchdown pass on his first career attempt – a 17-yard pass to Keric Wheatfall – Wheatfall's first career touchdown score. It was the only snap in the game Reyna missed.
• Ben Wooldridge and Jorge Reyna share the same story. Both quarterbacks, on their first career pass attempts, tossed a touchdown pass. Reyna threw a 33-yard touchdown to Derrion Grim in the 2018 season opener against Idaho.
• Emoryie Edwards recorded his second career receiving touchdown.
• Derrion Grim recorded his fourth receiving touchdown this season and seventh of his career.
• Jared Rice became the all-time leader in program history in receiving yards for a tight end, surpassing Bear Pascoe. Rice is up to 1,317 yards. Pascoe's record was 1,294.
• Mykal Walker forced his first fumble of the season and third of his career. Evan Williams recovered Walker's force, it was his first career recovery.
• Evan Williams forced a fumble on top of his recovery. He became the first player to force and recover a fumble in the same game since Justin Rice earlier this season versus UNLV.
• Justin Rice led the team with 12 tackles.
• Justin Rice recorded double-digit tackles for the eighth time in 11 games this season.
• Alex Dumais recorded one sack. It was his second of the season.
