- Fresno State was shutout in the first quarter for the third time this season (Oregon, UNLV).
- Fresno State was shutout in two quarters on Saturday - the first and the third. It was the first time since playing at San Jose State on Nov. 30, 2019.
- Fresno State suffered its first home loss of the season.Â
- Fresno State allowed a 100-yard rusher for the second time this season.
- Fresno State had a season-high 11 penalties, losing 91 yards.
- Fresno State allowed a season-high 5.0 sacks.

- In his first game back since injury on Oct. 23, Ronnie Rivers ran for 79 yards on 12 carries.
- Jake Haener threw his first interception since Oct. 2 at Hawai’i.Â
Defense
- Cale Sanders Jr. got his first career start.Â
- DaRon Bland grabbed his second interception of the season, and returned it for 32 yards.Â
- DB Evan Williams had double-digit tackles for the third straight game and fifth time this season.
- E. Williams led the team in tackles for the fourth straight week.Â
- E. Williams had a team-high two pass breakups.Â
- Malachi Langley recorded a career-high 10 tackles.Â
- DE David Perales led the team in TFLs with 2.0 for 22 yards.Â
- Cale Sanders, Jr. forced the first fumble of his career.
Special Teams
- Malik Sherrod had a career-high 106 kickoff return yards. It was the first time a Bulldog had a 100-yard kickoff return game since Jordan Mims against UNLV (Sept. 24, 2021).Â
- Abraham Montano took over kickoff duties for the game. He had three kickoffs for 195 yards and two touchbacks.
