Fresno State 2021 Football Tickets FAQs

Q: What steps are being taken to ensure a safe environment at Bulldog Stadium?
A: As always, our top priority when hosting our athletic events is the health and safety of our student-athletes, coaches, staff and fans. With the possibility of COVID-19 still being prevalent in our community this fall, we have taken additional steps to help ensure the safety of everyone in attendance. Below is a list of some of the steps we currently plan to implement this fall. Additional protocols will remain fluid as public health guidelines continue to evolve this summer. Updated information will be provided as we approach the start of the season.
Q: When do I need to renew my season tickets by?
A: Returning season ticket holders are asked to renew their season tickets and Bulldog Foundation scholarship support by the May 4th renewal deadline. The Bulldog Ticket Office is offering several flexible payment plan options to spread out payments through August.
Q: As a season ticket holder, am I guaranteed tickets for the 2021 season?
A: The best way to ensure you will have the ability to attend games this coming fall is to be a season ticket holder. If public health officials mandate a capacity restricted environment, single game tickets may not be possible, so only season ticket holders would be eligible to receive tickets in that scenario.
Q: If sales exceed capacity, how will it be determined who gets tickets and who doesn't?
A: If we are in a scenario where season ticket sales exceed our permitted capacity level based on the requirements from the State and County Public Health Departments, we will allocate season tickets based on a ranking system comprised of several factors including: Bulldog Foundation (BDF) priority point totals, consecutive years of purchasing season tickets, and the number of season tickets in your account.
If this situation presents itself, we hope you will consider carrying any 2021 football season ticket payment towards your 2022 season tickets or donating this amount to the BDF to help support scholarships for Bulldog student-athletes. Choosing either of these options will help us financially as our department revenues are being impacted greatly due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Q: If I receive my season tickets this year, will I receive my normal seat location?
A: We are approaching the season optimistic that all season ticket holders will be accommodated as normal. However, if COVID-19 continues to be prevalent in our community this summer and if public health requirements call for restricted capacity and required distance between pods of fans, it is possible that all season ticket holders for the 2021 season will need to be reseated to meet these requirements. In this scenario, we will do our best to seat you as close as possible to your current seating location and/or price level.
Q: If a reseating needs to take place, how will my seat location be determined?
A: Season ticket holders who are Bulldog Foundation (BDF) members will be assigned seats based on their priority point total. The number of season tickets in an account could also play a role in determining seat location.
For non-BDF season tickets holders, the number of consecutive years as a season ticket holder will determine the order of allocation. Also, the quantity of season tickets in your account can play a role in determining seat location.
Q: If I am a Red Seat holder, will I be seated in the Red Seats?
A: If public health requirements call for restricted capacity and required distance between pods of fans, we will need to reseat all season ticket holders for the 2021 season to meet public health standards. Restricted capacity models will limit the number of seats that can be assigned in the red seats as these sections have the highest percent of season ticket holders in Bulldog Stadium and as such they will be impacted more than other areas in the stadium. Remember, your BDF priority points and quantity of season tickets will determine your seat location.
Q: Will I be seated within the same price level as my normal season tickets?
A: If public health guidelines force us to reseat Bulldog Stadium, we cannot guarantee your seat location will be within the same price level as your normal season tickets. If you’re particular price level is full when we come to allocating your seats, your tickets will then be assigned in the next best available price level and location.
Q: If my seats are not assigned in the same price level as my normal seat location, then how is the price difference addressed?
A: You will be able to transfer over the difference in ticket price and apply it to your 2022 season tickets. For example, if your season tickets are normally $276 and you are seated in the $199 areas, then $77 per ticket will be carried over and applied to the cost of your 2022 season tickets.
If your seat location for the 2021 Football Season was determined by BDF priority points (which includes your current year membership), no part of your 2021 BDF membership can be refunded or deferred to the 2022 Season.
Q: If my seats are normally on one side (west/east) or end (north/south) of Bulldog Stadium, then will my seats be in this area?
A: If public health guidelines force us to reseat Bulldog Stadium, we will take into consideration your normal seat location and on which side of the stadium you are currently located when assigning seats, but at this time we cannot guarantee any particular area of the stadium.
Q: Can I reduce the number of tickets that I want this season?
A: Yes, We will honor requests to reduce the number of season tickets until July 23rd.
If you should have a credit when reducing your number of season tickets, we hope you will consider carrying over any 2021 football season ticket credit towards your 2022 season tickets or donating this amount to the BDF to help support scholarships for Bulldog student-athletes. Choosing either of these options will help us financially as our department revenues are being impacted greatly due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Q: What if I already purchased tickets and don’t want to take part in a possible reseating process and decided I will not be attending games this season?
A: Even though we are not planning on canceling football games in 2021, we will still apply our Event Cancelation/Postponement policy to your request. See our policy here:

Below is a list of some of the steps we currently plan to implement this fall. Additional protocols will remain fluid as public health guidelines continue to evolve this summer. Updated information will be provided as we approach the start of the season.
- We are utilizing mobile ticketing for contactless entry. Your season tickets will be delivered electronically in August. You can download and store your tickets to your mobile device, which will be scanned for entry into the stadium on gameday. Tickets can also be transferred electronically to friends or family. More information will be provided at a later date.
- We are utilizing mobile parking passes for contactless entry into our gameday parking lots. Season long and/or single game parking passes will be distributed electronically. You can download and store your parking passes on your mobile device, which will be scanned for entry into our gameday parking lots. More detailed information will be provided at a later date.
- We are implementing a clear bag policy in order to cut down on the amount of handling that would need to take place at the security gates and as an additional safety precaution. Only clear bags will be permitted inside the stadium. More detailed information will be provided at a later date.
- Recommended safeguards will be in place at all concessions stands.
- Fans will be expected to comply with any public health guidelines in place this fall regarding gathering and social distance as it relates to tailgating and pregame activities.
- If public health guidelines continue to require distance between pods of fan, it is possible we will need to reseat all season ticket holders for the 2021 season to adhere to these restrictions.
Q: How are ticketing plans being made in an ever-changing COVID-19 environment?
A: Our hope is to accommodate all of our season ticket holders this fall and we are approaching the season optimistic that public health guidelines will continue to become less restrictive. Given the fluidity of the situation, we will continue to adjust as public health guidelines are updated throughout the spring and summer months. The best way to ensure you will have the ability to attend games this fall is to become a season ticket holder as, due to the large number of season ticket holders we historically have, there is a good chance single game tickets will not be available if any capacity restrictions are in place.
Q: When do I need to renew my season tickets by?
Q: I am not currently a season ticket holder. What is the best route for me to attend games this fall?
A: The best chance to attend games this fall would be to purchase season tickets, which start at only $99 per person. We also have flexible payment plan options that stretch across three, four, or five months. In this COVID-19 environment, season ticket purchases are “risk-free”, see our policy here. A. ADA requests can always be made and we will do our very best to accommodate all requests. Preference requests can be made but we cannot offer any guarantee that all requests will be accommodated this year due to the possibility of capacity restrictions and social distance requirements.
