- Fresno State scored a season-high for points in a quarter with 28 in the second. The ‘Dogs had previously scored a high of 24 in the second quarter against UConn.
- Fresno State had 10+ receivers for the third-straight game.
- The Bulldogs held Cal Poly scoreless in the second half, the second opponent Fresno State has held without a point in the second half this season.
- Fresno State improves to 2-0 at home on the season, and 3-1 at home under Kalen DeBoer.

- Bula Schmidt got the start at center and Dante Adkins Jr. started at right guard. It was Adkins Jr.’s first start of the season while Schmidt earned his first start of the year at center after starting at right guard the last two games.
- Josh Kelly recorded the first 100-yard receiving game of his career, surpassing 100-yards in the first half.
- Josh Kelly scored a career-high two touchdowns, grabbing the second and third of his career.
- Zane Pope had a career-long reception - a 62-yard touchdown reception.
- Pope scored his first touchdown of the season.
- Keric Wheatfall also had a career-long reception with a 53-yard touchdown catch. He also scored his first touchdown of the season.
- Jordan Wilmore scored his first touchdown as a Bulldog - a 10-yard run in the fourth quarter.
- Jake Haener had a single-game career-high rushing touchdowns on Saturday (2)
- Jake Haener accounted for six of the Bulldogs’ first eight touchdowns in the game (two rushing, four passing). It was the first time in his career that he has accounted for six scores.
- Jake Haener had 300+ yards for the second game this season. His 380 yards rank 31st in a single game in program history.
- Haener had three passes of 50-plus yards (53, 62, 62).
- Jaylen Henderson made his Bulldog debut at quarterback, rushing for 62 yards on nine carries. In the air attack, Henderson completed 4-of-6 passes for 44 yards.
- In addition to Henderson, WR Vallee Washington, TE Jake Boust, and OL Braylen Nelson saw their first snaps as Bulldogs on Saturday.
Defensive Notes
- Levelle Bailey grabbed Fresno State’s first interception of the season, and second of his career.
- Bailey registered four passes defended - one interception and three broken up passes.
- Evan Williams forced and recovered a fumble on Cal Poly’s opening possession of the second half - his first for both stat categories this season.
- Williams led the team in tackles for the second-straight game. The junior finished with five tackles, 1.0 TFL, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery.
- Kevin Atkins had a season-high 2.0 sacks.
- Elijah Gates was second on the team with four tackles (ties his season high). Gates also added a season-high 2.0 TFL. and one broken up pass.
- DB Chrishawn Gordon, DE Charles Remlinger and DT Julius Lewis saw the first snaps of their Bulldog careers. All three recorded at least one tackle.
