- Fresno State won its first game this season when trailing at the half.
- Fresno State won its first Mountain West opener since 2018.
- Fresno State is now 6-4 in its Mountain West openers.
- Fresno State won its fourth-straight game against UNLV, and 17th game in the series.
- Fresno State remains undefeated at home this season.
- Fresno State played in front of its biggest home crowd (35,093) since hosting San Diego State on Nov. 24, 2018 in front of a crowd of 36,123 red wavers.
- Jalen Cropper has scored a touchdown in six-straight games, the first time a Bulldog receiver has had a touchdown in at least six consecutive games since Davante Adams. Adams holds the record with nine-straight games with a receiving touchdown.
- Cropper's four touchdowns is a new single-game career-high.
- Cropper's four receiving touchdowns ties the single game program record. He joins Davante Adams, Jim Molich and Charlie Jones as the only 'Dogs to do so.
- Cropper became the third Bulldog to have multiple three-plus touchdown games in a career, joining Davante Adams and KeeSean Johnson.
- Cropper had double-digit receptions for the second-straight game.
- Jake Haener's five touchdown passes against the Rebels were the most in a game by a Bulldog quarterback since Derek Carr in 2013.
- Haener's five touchdown passes were tied for the third-most in a game in program history.
- Haener is just one of seven Bulldog quarterbacks to have five touchdown passes in a game - joining Derek Carr, David Carr, Billy Volek, Jim Arellanes, Jeff Tedford and Bill Yancy.
- Haener had 278 passing yards in the second half alone.
- Keric Wheatfall had his first 100-yard game of the season with 115 yards receiving on Friday night.
- Wheatfall had 115 yards on five catches, averaging 23 yards per catch on the night. Wheatfall's 115 yards receiving is a new career-high.
- Wheatfall had a long reception of 55 yards, also a new career-high.
- Erik Brooks had a touchdown for the second-straight game.
Defensive Notes
- Levelle Bailey led the team with seven tackles. He led the team for the first time this season.
- Fresno State's defense had four sacks in a game for the third time this season. The Bulldogs were led by Kevin Atkins who had 1.5 for a loss of seven yards.
- The 'Dogs had 8.0 TFL against the Rebels, their most since Cal Poly (Sept. 11, 2021).
- Arron Mosby led the team with 2.0 TFL. The senior defensive end now has 8.5 TFL on the season.
- Mosby also forced a fumble for the second time this season, halting a crucial UNLV scoring drive.
- Kwami Jones had his first career fumble recovery.
- The Bulldogs had seven pass breakups, with a team-high two from Mosby.
Special Teams Notes
- Cesar Silva was 2-of-2 in his first game back since the season opener.
- Silva hit a long of 31 yards, and another of 25.
- Jordan Mims had 140 kickoff return yards, on six attempts.
- Mims led the Bulldogs to the most kickoff return yards by the team in a game since the 2020 season finale against New Mexico when the 'Dogs had 137.
- Mims' 140 kickoff return yards were the most by a single Bulldog since Isaiah Burse had 149 kickoff return yards at San Diego State on Dec. 3, 2011.
