- Fresno State scored on its opening drive (26-yard field goal by Abraham Montano) for the first time since the season opener against Cal Poly (Sept. 1).
 - With 10 first quarter points, Fresno State scored its most points in the opening quarter since the season opener against Cal Poly when it scored 21.
 - Fresno State won its first road game of the season
 - Fresno State had over 500 yards of total offense for the first time since the season opener against Cal Poly.
 - Fresno State scored its most points in a game (41) since scoring 63 against Cal Poly on Sept. 11, 2021. It was its most against a conference opponent since scoring 41 at Hawai’i on Nov. 2, 2019.
 - Fresno State held New Mexico to only 138 total yards of offense (51 passing and 87 rushing).
 - Fresno State did not allow a touchdown in a game for the first time since its shutout at Wyoming on Oct. 16, 2021.
 - Fresno State’s defense has had a 10.0 TFL performance in back-to-back games.
 - Fresno State had its second game of the season with just one penalty.

Offense Notes
- OL Bula Schmidt recorded a pass reception in the second quarter as he caught a deflected pass, and ran for four yards. It was the first time a Bulldog offensive lineman caught a pass since Adam McDowell at then-No. 8 Boise State on Nov. 28, 2008.
 - WR Jalen Moreno-Cropper recorded his first 100-yard receiving game since Sept. 24, 2021 against UNLV.
 - Moreno-Cropper’s 75-yard touchdown catch was the second-longest catch of his career.
 - Moreno-Cropper scored his first touchdown of the season, and the 17th of his career. He now sits alone as 10th in program history.
 - QB Logan Fife had the longest pass of his career, a 75 yard touchdown pass to Moreno-Cropper.
 - Fife had a career-high game, being responsible for three touchdowns - one passing and two rushing.
 - RB Jordan Mims has his third 100 yard rushing game of the season, and the seventh of his career
 - Mims had a season-high 26 carries.
 - RB Malik Sherrod had a career-high 13 carries.
 
Defense Notes
- Chrishawn Gordon got his first career start (Safety).
 - DE Andres Fox recorded his first sack as a Bulldog.
 - LB Levelle Bailey led the team in tackles for the fifth time this season.
 - Bailey had a season-high 2.0 tackles for loss.
 - True freshman safety Jayden Davis (Fresno, Calif.) saw the first play action of his career. He recorded the tackle on his first collegiate play.
 
Special Teams Notes
- New Mexico returned a kickoff 63 yards in the first quarter. It was the longest kickoff return that the Bulldogs gave up since a 66-yard KO return by Kazmier Allen at UCLA on Sept. 18, 2021.
 - Kicker Abraham Montano was a perfect 2-for-2 on his field goal attempts
 - Kicker Dylan Lynch handled kickoff duties again, finishing with seven kickoffs for 419 yards
