- Fresno State honored 14 seniors prior to the game - Jalen Guerrero (medical retire), Dontae Bull (OL), Elijah Gates (DB), Jake Haener (QB), Zach Hartsfield (TE), Ty Jones (WR), Jordan Mims (RB), Jalen Moreno-Cropper (WR), Raymond Pauwels Jr. (TE), David Perales (DE), Zane Pope (WR), Nikko Remigio (WR), Jared Torres (TE), and Evan Williams (DB).
- Fresno State shut out an opponent in the first half for the third time this season. It was the second-straight game, and the third time in the last four games.
- Fresno State picked off Wyoming multiple times for the second-straight season.
- Fresno State posted its second straight against Wyoming (17-0 at Wyoming on Oct. 16, 2021).
- The 30 points is the largest margin of victory in a shutout since Aug, 28, 2021 against UConn (45-0). It is tied for the seventh-largest margin of victory in a shutout since 2000.
- The Bulldogs held the Cowboys to 191 yards of offense, the second opponent this year that the ‘Dogs have held below 200 yards.
Offense Notes
- RB Jordan Mims now has 14 rushing touchdowns on the season.
- Mims had his third multi-rushing score performance of the season.
- Mims had a season-high three rushing touchdowns in the win. Three touchdowns in a game tied his career high. It is the most in a game for the senior since Sept. 1, 2018 (vs. Idaho).Â
-  It was the eighth multi-rushing touchdown game of Mims’ career.
- Mims has recorded a rushing touchdown in seven straight games.
- It was the fourth time in Mims’ career that he has scored three total touchdowns.
- Mims’ 14 rushing touchdowns this season is tied for the sixth-most in program history.
- Mims is four yards shy of surpassing 3,000 rushing yards for his career.
- WR Nikko Remigio caught his fifth receiving touchdown of the season - tying for the team high.
- QB Jake Haener passed for more yards after the first completion of the second quarter than he did in four quarters at Wyoming a season ago.
- Haener set a Mountain West program record with his 27-consecutive games with a passing touchdown. He officially passed Derek Carr and former Nevada quarterback Carson Strong on the list.
Defense Notes
- DB Carlton Johnson got his first career start.
- Johnson had more tackles on Friday (7) than his first four career games combined (5).
- Johnson led the team in tackles for the first time in his career.Â
- DE David Perales left the game with injury in the second quarter.
- LB Malachi Langley recorded his second interception of the season, and returned it 11 yards.
- DB Cam Lockridge recorded his third interception of the season. They have all come in the last five games.
Special Teams Notes
- WR Mac Dalena recorded a blocked punt in the first quarter. It was the first time a Bulldog blocked a punt since Mykal Walker at UNLV on Nov. 3, 2018.
- DB Evan WIlliams blocked a punt in the second quarter for a safety. It was the first time since Nov. 25, 2021 (at San Jose State) that Fresno State scored on a safety. One year, to the day.
- RB Malik Sherrod had a 50-yard kickoff return. It was the longest kickoff return of the season, and the longest by a Bulldog since Jamire Jordan had a 65-yard kickoff return in 2018.
