Team Notes
- Fresno State won its eighth-straight game at home, dating back to Oct. 15, 2022 in a win against San Jose State.
- Fresno State won its sixth straight game in the series with UNLV.
- Fresno State was held to 108 yards of offense in the first half, one more than its lowest of the season (107 at Wyoming).
- Prior to tonight, UNLV had not had more than two turnovers in a game this season. The ‘Dogs forced three in the third quarter alone, and four total. Fresno State turned them into 17 points.
- Fresno State had four players with a receiving touchdown for the first time since Nov. 25, 2021 at San Jose State.
- The 24 points for Fresno State in the third quarter were the most in a quarter for the ‘Dogs this season.
- Fresno State has ended three of its eight games on interceptions in the final minute (EWU on Sept. 9, USU on Oct. 13, UNLV on Oct. 28).
Offense Notes
- WR Tim Grear Jr. had his first career touchdown in the first quarter. It was also the longest catch of his career, a 31-yard grab.
- QB Mikey Keene saw his first game action since Oct. 7 at Wyoming. He went 6-of-7 for 64 yards on his opening drive.
- WR Mac Dalena caught his second touchdown of the season on a two-yard pass from Keene.
- Dalena, a Fresno native, scored his first career touchdown inside Valley Children’s Stadium.
- WR Erik Brooks caught his fifth touchdown of the year on a 10-yard pass from Keene on a third-and-goal that gave the Bulldogs a 21-17 lead.
- RB Malik Sherrod scored on a three-yard reception, his first receiving touchdown of the year.
- WR Jalen Moss led the Bulldogs with 99 yards on five catches. His 60-yard reception in the third quarter was the longest of his career.
- Moss led the team in yards receiving for the third time this season.
Defense Notes
- DE Isaiah Johnson had his first game action since Sept. 30 against Nevada, rehabbing an injury suffered in that game.
- Johnson forced a fumble in the third quarter. It was his first career forced fumble.
- DB Dean Clark grabbed his first interception as a Bulldog in the third quarter.
- Clark also recovered a fumble on the next offensive play for UNLV.
- LB Levelle Bailey collected his second game-ending interception this year.
- Bailey and Clark tied for the team lead in tackles with eight.
- LB Tuasivi Nomura recorded the first sack of his collegiate career to force a three-and-out on UNLV’s first drive of the second half.
Special Teams Notes
- DB Steven Comstock recovered a UNLV muffed punt at the UNLV 15-yard line that the Bulldogs’ offense turned into a touchdown. It was the first recovery of his career.
- Dylan Lynch made a field goal for the eighth consecutive game this season, connecting on a 36-yarder in the third quarter.
