- Fresno State scored a touchdown on its opening drive for the second straight game.
- Fresno State lost its second game in a row.
- Fresno State dropped its fourth straight game to Air Force.
- Air Force scored its second-most points this season on Saturday.
- Air Force ran 80 rush plays for 344 rushing yards on the night, the most rushing attempts by any FBS team in a game this season.
- It was the most rushing yards allowed by the Bulldogs since Nov. 18, 2023 (New Mexico - 345).
- Air Force held possession for 45:08. It was the first time a Bulldog opponent had possession for more than 40 minutes in a game since Air Force on Oct. 24, 2015 (42:38).
- Fresno State’s defense did not have a turnover in the game.
- Fresno State lost its second game this season when leading at the half.
- The -5 rushing yards were the Bulldogs’ fewest in a game since Dec. 24, 2012 (-16, vs. SMU in Hawai’i Bowl).
- It was the first time since Oct. 29, 2022 that Fresno State had negative rushing yards (vs San Diego State; -3)
Offense Notes
- Elijah Gilliam scored his eighth rushing touchdown of the season
- Gilliam has scored at least one rushing touchdown in five straight games. It is the longest streak by a Bulldog since Jordan Mims had a streak of nine games with a score in 2022.
- Mac Dalena scored a 73-yard touchdown in the second quarter. It was his sixth score of the season, and the second longest of his career.
- Dalena now has three touchdown receptions longer than 65 yards this season.
- Dalena had his second multi-score game of the season.
- Jalen Moss caught his third touchdown of the season on a 19-yard reception.
- Moss extended his streak of consecutive games with a catch to 23 games.
- Mikey Keene was 8-of-8 for 146 yards in the first half.
- Keene’s first incompletion of the game was an interception off a deflection.
- Richie Anderson had a career-high five catches for 60 yards.
- Jacob Spomer had his first start in nearly a full calendar year, making his rehab from the injury suffered on Nov. 11, 2023 at San Jose State. Spomer started at left tackle.
- Toreon Penright also got his first start of the season at right guard.
Defense Notes
- Tuasivi Nomura, Malachi Langley, Devo Bridges and Jayden Davis had double-digit tackles on Saturday. It was the first time since the 2019 matchup with Air Force that Fresno State had four tacklers with double digit marks.
- Nomura had a career-high 18 tackles, surpassing the 16 he had at New Mexico on Sept. 21, 2024.
- It was the most tackles by a Bulldog in a game since Derron Smith had 18 vs. USC on Dec. 21, 2014.
- Langley tied his career high with 13 tackles. It was the fourth time in his career that he has finished a game with 13.
- Davis had a career-high with 11 tackles.
- Bridges had a career-high 10 tackles.
- Dean Clark, Phoenix Jackson and Cam Lockridge were inactive for the game.
 Special Teams Notes
- Jalen Moss opened the game with a 41-yard kickoff return. It was the longest kickoff return of his career.
- It was the longest kick return by a Bulldog since Malik Sherrod returned one for a 95-yard touchdown vs. Boise State on Nov. 4, 2023.
