Team Notes:
- Fresno State lost its first game to UCLA since 2000. The Bulldogs had won the previous four.
- Fresno State’s 13 points was its fewest since the season opener at Michigan (10).
- The 20 points allowed were the third-fewest by the Bulldogs’ defense this season.
- Fresno State finished with 281 yards of offense, its third-fewest of the season.
- Fresno State was shutout in the first quarter for the third time this season. The two other games were at Michigan and at UNLV, both losses.
- UCLA had seven penalties in the first half, while the Bulldogs had zero. Fresno State had its first penalty of the game on its first possession of the second half. The Bulldogs finished with five on the afternoon.
- Fresno State was held to seven points or fewer in the second half for the fourth straight game.
- At the end of the regular season, Fresno State has averaged 26.6 points per game - it's fewest in a season since 2016.
- UCLA held a time of possession of 37:14. It is the fourth straight game Fresno State’s opponent has had the ball for more than 34 minutes.
- Fresno State was held to 62 yards rushing, its sixth game below 100 yards (1-5).
Offense Notes:
- QB Mikey Keene passed for 219 yards on 30-of-43 attempts.
- Keene had a season-high 43 attempts.
- Keene tied his season-high with 30 completions.Â
- RB Bryson Donelson totaled 85 all-purpose yards (41 rushing, 44 receiving).
- Donelson had a season-high nine receptions.
- WR Mac Dalena had a game-high 47 yards receiving on seven catches.
- WR Raylen Sharpe caught his third touchdown of the season, putting Fresno State ahead 7-6 with 7:29 left in the first quarter.
- WR Chedon James caught his first pass since Aug. 31 at Michigan, a 38-yard reception on third-and-5 to end the third quarter. It was the longest play of the day for the Bulldogs.
Defense Notes:
- DB Al’zillion Hamilton recorded career highs of 10 tackles and 1.5 TFLs.
- DB Dean Clark had 10 tackles, his second game this season with double-digit tackles.
- LB Phoenix Jackson finished with eight tackles, his second-most in a game this season.
- Jackson also had a game-high two pass breakups.
Special Teams Notes:
- Jalen Moss had a fumble on a punt return opportunity, surrendering possession back to UCLA.
- Dylan Lynch had a 48-yard field goal at the end end of the first half. It tied his longest field goal of the season.
- Lynch saw his first field goal attempt in a game since Oct. 26 vs San Jose State.
- Lynch made two fields in a game for the first time since Oct. 26.
