Team Notes
- Fresno State defeated Boise State on its home turf in back-to-back meetings. It is the first time in series history that the Bulldogs have won two-straight road meetings at Boise State
- Fresno State snapped Boise State’s nation leading 16-game home winning streak. Prior to Saturday, its last loss was to Fresno State in the 2022 MW Championship Game
- Fresno State’s 30-7 win over Boise State was its largest margin of victory in the series since 1996 when Fresno State won 41-7 at home for Jim Sweeney’s 200th career victory
- Fresno State earned its largest margin of victory on the road in the series, ever
- Fresno State secured bowl eligibility on Saturday, its fifth consecutive year with a bowl game
- Head coach Matt Entz becomes the fifth head coach to lead the program to a bowl game in their first year as head coach
- Fresno State scored its first touchdown in the last five quarters, having not scored a single point since the third quarter of the Colorado State game on Oct. 10
- Fresno State blocked a field goal in the second quarter. It was the second blocked field goal by the Bulldogs this season, and first since Sept. 13, 2025 vs Southern (Kyson Van Vugt).
- Fresno State had its first lead at halftime since Oct. 4 vs Nevada
- Fresno State did not score on its second half opening drive, remaining without a score in that drive all season.
- Fresno State’s defense had three turnovers gained on Saturday, its most since Oct. 4 vs Nevada
- Fresno State’s defense had 10.0 TFL, its most in a game since Oct. 12, 2024 vs Washington State
- Fresno State did not turn the ball over offensively
- Fresno State did not allow a sack for the first time since Sept. 6 at Oregon State, and the third time this season
- Fresno State had three different running backs score a touchdown for the second time this season, and first time since Sept. 13 vs Southern (Donelson, Luke, Arceneaux)
- Fresno State won its first game of the season when winning the coin toss
Offense Notes
- RB Elijah Gilliam scored his third touchdown of the season, and 17th of his career
- RB Brandon Ramirez scored his second touchdown of the season, and second of his career
- RB Bryson Donelson scored his fourth touchdown of the season, and 7th of his career
- RB Rayshon Luke led Fresno State with 88 rushing yards
- QB Carson Conklin had his second start as a Bulldog
- Conklin finished the game with 35 yards passing (10-of-21) and no touchdowns or interceptions
- TE Richie Anderson III had two catches for nine yards, extending his streak to 15 consecutive games with a reception. It is the longest streak on the Bulldog roster
- WR Josiah Freeman led the team with 27 yards receiving on four catches
Defense Notes
- LB Jadon Pearson led the team with 10 tackles, his second-straight game with 10 tackles
- Pearson also added 2.0 TFL
- NKL Simeon Harris grabbed his team-leading third interception of the year
- Harris was also responsible for the Bulldogs’ second turnover gained on the afternoon, on a strip sack recovered by Jacks
- Harris finished the afternoon with six tackles, 1.0 sack, 3.0 TFL, a forced fumble and an interception
- Harris’ 3.0 TFL were a team-high and a career-high. It was the most TFL in a game by any Bulldog this season
- DE Jahzon Jacks had his fourth fumble recovery of the season
- Jacks’ four fumble recoveries leads the nation
- DE Finn Claypool had 2.0 TFL and 2.0 sacks
- LB Tytus Khajavi got his first career interception
Special Teams Notes
- K Dylan Lynch connected on his first field goal since Oct. 4 vs Nevada.
- Lynch had not had a FG attempt in the last two games.
- Lynch was a perfect 3-for-3 in his field goal attempt
- DE Jahzon Jacks blocked a field goal in the second quarter. It was his first career blocked kick.
