PRIOR TO FRESNO STATE: Played his freshman season at UMKC from 2014-15 ... played in 33 games with 10 starts ... averaged 7.6 points, 2.0 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 0.9 steals per game as a true freshman for the Kangaroos ... converted 80.3 percent (49-for-61) of his free throw attempts .. shot 40.8 percent (80-of-196) from the field and 39.4 percent (41-of-104) from beyond the 3-point arc.
HIGH SCHOOL: As a prep standout at John W. PERSONAL: Parents are Terri Bailey and Desha Taylor ... has three siblings one brother, Desha, and two sisters, Tiera and Brittany ... favorite athlete is NBA player Stephen Curry because Curry was an underdog and not really recruited in high school, but now he is considered one of the best NBA point guards ... biggest athletic thrill was when Taylor scored 10 three-pointers in a game and 40 points in three quarters ... most admires his mother because she has done everything for him and always believed in him ... chose Fresno State because it was the best fit for him, also liked that it was close to home, he loved the atmosphere and his old teammates and some friends were also on the basketball team ... also recruited out of high school by Hawai'i, UC Riverside and Portland State.
