Fresno State: (2007) Championed the WAC in discus, throwing a 175-8, the first Fresno State champion in the event... threw a 176-3 (53.72m) in the discus at the UCLA Rafer Johnson/Jackie Joyner-Kersee Invitational... was second-best in WAC standings in the shot put with a toss of 58-6.75 (17.85m)... also qualified for Regionals in the hammer throw... qualified for the NCAA Regional meet in both the discus and the shot. (2006) Redshirted. (2005) WAC Scholar-Athlete ... Fresno State Scholar-Athlete ... qualified for NCAA Regionals in the discus, where he placed 16th ... made the postseason field with a personal-best toss of 176-2 (53.69m) at the Modesto Relays ... top mark in the shot put was a career-high 51-3.50 (15.63m) at WAC Outdoor Championships ... took second in the discus at outdoor conference meet (2004) Ranked among the top-five on the squad in five different throwing events ... second on the team in the discus with a toss of 163-5 (49.80m), nearly missing out on an NCAA Regional apperance ... third on the squad in the hammer (158-11) and shot put (49-11.25). Clovis West HS: Lettered in track and field along with football ... high marks included: discus (170-0) and shot put (55-0) ... two-time league champion in the discus and three-time qualifier in shot put and discus at section championship.
