Sydnee Fipps joined the Bulldogs in September 2018 as a graduate assistant. Among other duties, she will serve as an assistant to the director of operations.
Fipps most recently played professionally for Lakeside Lightning in the Women's State Basketball League in Australia where she was one of the top scorers in the league, averaging over 20 points per game during the past two seasons. She led the WSBL in three-pointers made in both seasons with 84 in 2017 and 74 in 2018. Prior to returning home to join Fresno State, the Mariposa, California native helped lead Lakeside to the club's second WSBL championship.
Fipps was a three-time All-Big West first team selection at UC Davis where she ranks second in scoring in program history with 1,636 points. She earned her bachelor's degree in 2015 in managerial economics. Fipps was a two-time Division II all-state selection at Yosemite High School while leading her team to four straight North Sequoia League titles, twice earning conference MVP honors.Â
She is currently working toward earning her master's degree in sports administration.Â
