2023-24 (SOPHOMORE): Broke the program record in the 100 Breaststroke three times, twice at Mountain West Championships…named All-MW in the 100 and 200 Breaststroke…tabbed Swimmer of the Week (Nov. 7)...Earned three top-five fastest in program history place-markers in the 100 Breast, 200 Breast and 200 IM… swam a season best in the 200 IM at Conference Championships.
2022-23 (FRESHMAN): Mid-season addition to the team from Hungary…Two-time finalist at Mountain West Championships in 100 Breast (1:04.14) and 200 Breast (2:11.65)…Both times were personal bests and NICA cuts…100 Breast established a new program record…Part of the new program record 400 Medley Relay team (3:38.94), which was 2nd in the MW Championship…3x All Mountain West on the season.Â
PERSONAL:Â Born in Szombathely, Hungary...daughter to Gyorgy Kalmar & Andrea Kovacs...has a twin sister Laura and younger brother Zalan...outside of swimming she enjoys reading...is a Pre-Psychology major...chose Fresno State because she loved the team and the coaches'Â spirit...dream job is to be a swim coach...highlight of her life has been qualifying for the 2021 European Championships...is motivated to work hard by her teammates and twin sister...can speak two languages, Hungarian and English.
