2024-25 (SENIOR): A two-time championship finalist in the 200 fly (5th, 2:00.35) and 100 fly (7th, 53.92) and consolation finalist in the 50 free (14th, 23.12) at Mountain West Championships... is on three program record breaking relays 200 medley, 400 medley and 400 free achieved at MWC...two-time All-MW selection...holds the Aquatic Center record in the 100 IM (56.78) against Pepperdine...holds the Aquatic Center record in the 400 medley...is the programs all-time leader in the 100 IM, fourth in the 50 free, and fifth fastest in the 200 fly...competed in nine meets...was tabbed MW Diver of the Week...earned nine top-three finishes...holds seven events wins, two in the 100 fly, two in the 200 fly and one in the 100 free, 50 free, 50 fly...swam in the Toyota US Open in the 100 fly (14th) and 50 free...season best times - 50 FR (22.88), 100 FR (51.41), 100 BK (58.50), 100 FL (53.92), 200 FL (2:00.35), 100 IM (56.78)
2023-24 (JUNIOR): Two-time finalist in the 100 Butterfly and 200 Freestyle Relay at Mountain West Championships good for 6th place with a time of 53.8, also a personal best…consolation finalist in the 50 Freestyle taking 11th place with a time of 23.12…holds the second fastest time in program history in the 100 Butterfly achieved at Mountain West Championships…named All-MW twice on the season...earned nine events wins to the season 100 Fly (9x), 50 Free (2x) and 100 Back (2x).
2022-23 (SOPHOMORE): Three-time finalist at Mountain West Championships in the 100 Free (51.66) and 100 Back (56.48) and 100 Fly (54.96)...in prelims of the same strokes set personal bests of 51.32, 55.94 and 54.85 respectively, all also NICB cuts…also set a personal best in the 50 Free (23.38)...Part of school record setting 400 Medley Relay (3:38.94), earning a silver medal finish in the MW Championships and All Conference recognition…Represented the Bulldogs at the CSCAA National Invitational Championship…named Academic All-Mountain West
2021-22 (FRESHMAN): Placed 11th in the 100 Fly clocking a season-best time of 54.89 in the 100 Fly ... came in 19th in the 100 Back (56.98) at the MW Championships ... took 25th in the 50 Free (23.72) at the MW Championships ... also on the 200 Medley Relay that took fifth & 400 Medley/400 Free relay teams that came in sixth ... named the Mountain West Freshman of the Week on Jan. 25 winning both the 50 Free (24.03) and 100 Fly (56.25) against UC Davis (Jan. 22) ... named Academic All-Mountain West.
HIGH SCHOOL: 2021 graduate of Grandview High School in Aurora, Colo. ... three-time All-American and currently holds four high school team records ... was a National AP Scholar and High School Distinguished Scholar.
PERSONAL: From Centennial, Colo...daughter of Maria and Kevin Matney...has two older brothers Jeffery and Jason...is majoring in Earth & Environmental Sciences...enjoys hiking, traveling and yoga...choose Fresno State because she loved the culture of an all-girls team.
