2023-24: Finalist in the 200 Freestyle Relay taking third place…three-time consolation finalist in the 50 Freestyle (9th), 100 Butterfly (11th) and 200 Butterfly (12th) at the Mountain West Conference Championships…earned a personal best in the 50 Freestyle (22.90) at MWC, also good for the fourth fastest time in program history…tallied 51 points for Fresno at MWC…earned four event wins to the season, twice in the 100 Freestyle, 50 Freestyle and 200 Butterfly…named All-MW in the 200 Freestyle Relay.
2022-23 (SENIOR): Three-time finalist at Mountain West Championships in 50 Free 100 Fly and 200 Fly...200 Fly (1:59.16) was 6th fastest in the conference, a personal best for Mackenzie and a NICA cut…50 Free (22.93) placed 7th in MW and was another personal best…100 Fly (53.81) was third personal best notched at MW Championships and a new Fresno State record… Part of school-record relay teams in 200 Free Relay (1:31.47) and 400 Medley Relay (3:38.94), which were both good for 2nd in the MW…and another All MW Relay in 200 Medley (1:40.22; 4th)…5x All Mountain West on the season…Named Academic All-Mountain West…named to College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team.
2020-21 (SOPHOMORE): Earned All-Mountain West honors after placing sixth in the 100 Fly in 55.89 & eighth in the 200 Fly at the MW Championship at 2:04.60 ... was a part of the 400 Free Relay that placed seventh at the MW Championship in 3:49.14 ... posted a time of 5:04.01 in the 500 Free at the MW Championship ... earned Academic All-MW honors ... named Mountain West Scholar-Athlete.
2019-20 (FRESHMAN): Competed in the 200 Fly at the MW Championship in 2:04.62 finishing 20th ... took third in the 200 Fly in 2:09.97 vs. SJSU (Feb. 1) ... posted a time of 55.85 in the 100 Free at Nevada (Oct. 25), 1:56.39 in the 200 Free, 5:12.69 in the 500 Free & 56.54 in the 100 Fly at SMU Invitational (Nov. 21), 11:05.11 in the 1000 Free vs. Pacific/Fresno Pacific (Nov. 16), 18:33.23 in the 1650 Free & 2:15.56 in the 200 IM at the Chick-Fil-A Invite (Oct. 11) ... earned Academic All-MW honors ... named Mountain West Scholar-Athlete.
High School: Swam for coach Dene Ehrhart at Chico HS ... helped the team go undefeated in meets throughout her four years and win four straight Northern Section Masters championships ... earned all-league and all-section honors in each of her four years ... won the 200 IM league title three times ... earned MVP honors as a junior and was a team captain as a senior ... won the 200 IM, 100 Fly, 200 IM Relay, and 400 Free Relay at the Masters as a senior ... competed in Junior Olympics and and Senior Zones in 2017 and 2018 ... also swam for the Chico AquaJets for 13 years, serving as a team captain for her last two years
Personal: Parents are Julia and Rick Hutler ... has an older sister, Hannah, and a younger brother, Jack ... enjoys hiking, traveling, and hanging out with friends and teammates ... chose Fresno State because she loved the positive attitude of the team and immediately felt at home ... majoring in nursing
