2015-16 (Senior): Became part of the fifth doubles team in Fresno State’s history to earn All-America honors after reaching the quarterfinals of the 2016 NCAA Women’s Doubles Championship with her sister Mayar … became first four-time All-Mountain West Singles Team selection at Fresno State … also earned spot on the All-MW Double Team … reached the doubles final at the Jack Kramer Invite during the fall … finished season with a 19-17 overall record in singles and 27-10 record in doubles … held a 14-6 doubles record in dual play at the No. 1 position … played primarily in the No. 3 spot in singles, recording a 12-10 … was one of three Bulldogs to go 4-0 in singles in MW play contributed to an 8-0 record at home and a final ITA team ranking of No. 43.
2014-15 (Junior): Selected to All-Mountain West Singles and Doubles teams ... appeared in all 23 dual matches ... finished the year with a 24-12 overall record in singles ... went 14-6 in dual matches with a 4-2 record in the Mountain West ... posted a 13-5 mark at the No. 3 position ... earned a 6-1, 6-4 win over No. 123 Catherine Leduc of Saint Mary's on Jan. 17 and was subsequently named Mountain West Player of the Week ... also earned MW Player of the Week honors March 18 after a 4-0 week, helping the Bulldogs defeat No. 60 San Jose State and Idaho ... posted 31-7 mark in doubles play while teaming up with three different partners ... went 22-3 during the spring, and 20-2 in dual matches, with her younger sister Maiar ... contributed to a 9-1 record at home and a final ITA team ranking of No. 58.
2013-14 (Sophomore): Named to the 2014 All-MW Singles Team ... appeared in 23 dual matches in her sophomore season ... concluded the year with a 14-17 overall singles record while posting an 8-11 mark in dual play at the No. 2 slate ... put up an overall 16-11 record in doubles action and 9-8 dual mark in all three positions ... won seven straight doubles matches from March 18 to April 27 at the No. 3 spot ... led the Bulldogs to the 2014 MW Championship and NCAA Tournament appearance clinching the winning point at No. 2 over New Mexico's Lizette Blankers (6-2, 7-5) in the championship match ... contributed in Fresno State's undefeated conference (5-0) and home (7-0) record as well as a final ITA ranking of No. 71.
2012-13 (Freshman): Named the Mountain West Freshman of the Year ... made the All-Mountain West Singles Team and Doubles Team ... named to the 2013 Spring Academic All-Mountain West team ... joined the Bulldogs in January ... competed in 21 dual matches ... went 7-15 overall and 6-13 in dual matches in singles all at the top two spots ... named Mountain West Player of the Week and Sysco Student-Athlete of the Week on Feb. 11 ... clinched the 'Dogs 4-3 home victory over Wyoming with a 7-6(4), 2-6, 6-2 win over Veronica Popvici at No. 1 ... went 7-3 in three set matches ... recorded a 15-9 overall and 14-7 dual match doubles record... teamed mainly with Melissa McQueen for a 13-5 dual match record at No. 1 and No. 2 ... clinched the doubles point with McQueen at No.1 in the Bulldogs 4-3 win on the road at Boise State with a 9-8 (9-7) victory over the Pietzuch sisters ... contributed to the 7-1 home record and No. 56 ITA final ranking.
Prior to Fresno State: Won the ITF Qatar Open two years consecutively in both singles and doubles (2009-10) ... Won ITF in Syria in 2009 ... Won ITF in Oman in 2009 ... Was number 1 in Ladies in Egypt in 2010 and won the national championship ... Won ITF in Egypt 2011 ... Won Qatar Open doubles with sister.
Personal: Parents are Amal Thabet and Sherif Ahmed ... has three siblings: Maiar, Dalia and Rowane ... hobbies include watching movies and spending time with friends and family ... also played badminton in high school ... favorite athlete is Roger Federer because he's very talented and she enjoys watching him play ... biggest athletic thrill was winning Qatar open two years in a row in both singles and doubles ... most admires her parents because they work very hard for she and her sisters... came to Fresno State because she likes the environment and team.
