Kendal Muñoz joined the Fresno State Volleyball program in March 2018 as Director of Operations and enters her third season in 2020.
Muñoz came to Fresno after serving as a sports information assistant at Stanislaus State since August of 2016. In her position as the sports information assistant, Muñoz served as a sport contact for volleyball, women's basketball and softball. Her duties included writing student-athlete biographies, postgame recaps, weekly notes and coordinating interviews for her assigned sports. She was also responsible for the game day scorer's table staff and served as a statistician.
As a student-athlete at Stanislaus State, Muñoz was a setter on the volleyball team from 2012 to 2016. In her first collegiate season, Muñoz posted 982 assists to earn Stanislaus State Female Freshman of the Year honors. A back injury cut her competitive career short, but she contributed to the team's first trip to the CCAA tournament during her comeback season as a senior in 2015, tallying 94 assists in 15 matches played.
Muñoz, a native of Monroe, Wash., graduated from Stanislaus State in May of 2016 with a degree in Communications.
