Former Fresno State libero Maggie Eppright returned to her alma mater as an assistant coach in April 2018 and enters her fourth season on the sidelines for the ‘Dogs in 2021. A 2016 graduate of Fresno State, Eppright came back to the Bulldogs after serving on the Cal Poly coaching staff during the 2017 season.
Eppright was a key part in helping lead the 'Dogs to their second winning season in the last three seasons this spring helping the Bulldogs go 8-6 after the fall season was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Fresno State tied for fourth in the MW with Wyoming for its second top-four finish in the league over the last three seasons.
Three Bulldogs were named All-Mountain West selections with Desiree Sukhov, Jocelyn Rodriguez being named to the All-MW Team and Amaria Kelley was tabbed All-MW Honorable Mention.
In her second season on the sidelines in 2019, the Bulldogs tallied 14 wins and tied for sixth in the Mountain West while three ‘Dogs earned All-Mountain West honors & junior outside hitter Desiree Sukhov was named the MW Newcomer of the Year.
In 2018, Eppright helped lead the 'Dogs to a 22-11 overall record and 13-5 mark in the MW as the team broke the program record for conference wins in a season and finished in 2nd place in the MW for the first time after being picked seventh in the preseason MW Coaches' Poll.
Fresno State's 22 wins in 2018 were its most in 16 years and the 'Dogs earned an automatic bid to the National Invitational Volleyball Championship (NIVC), the team's first postseason selection since 2002, and a first round NIVC win over UC Santa Barbara on Nov. 29 was the 'Dogs first postseason victory since 1995.
Eppright helped lead sophomore libero Reagan Leonard to an All-MW honorable mention selection as she broke the single-season program record with 605 digs in 2018, topping Eppright's previous program-best 573 digs in 2015. As a team the Bulldogs broke the single season program record with 1,999 digs on the year while leading the MW with 15.51 digs per set in conference play.
As a volunteer assistant coach at Cal Poly Eppright helped facilitate practice plans, worked directly with ball control & liberos, and assisted with Data Volley, scout videos and official visit logistics. Since February Eppright worked as an assistant technical coordinator with the US Men's National Volleyball team, helping code and clip matches in Data Volley 4.

Eppright also has previous coaching experience as the 14U & 17U Head Coach of 805 Elite Volleyball Club. In that role she ran tryouts, wrote practice plans, determined starting line-ups, instructed fundamentals, and improved training behaviors.

As a player at Fresno State Eppright was a four-year starter at libero and two-year team captain and was a 2015 All-Mountain West selection. She holds the program record for career digs per set (3.90) and is second in program history with 1,788 career digs. She is fourth in MW history in career digs and set the single-season program record with 573 digs in 2015. Eppright played in 459 career sets, third most in program history.

Eppright shined off the court as well in her time as a Fresno State student-athlete as she was Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) President and was the Mountain West nominee for 2017 NCAA Woman of the Year. She earned two CoSIDA Academic All-District selections and was a four-time Academic All-MW honoree as she totaled a 3.93 cumulative GPA.

A native of San Luis Obispo, Eppright earned a degree in interior design from Fresno State in 2016.
