Korrin Wild enters her second season with the Bulldogs having assumed the position as Director of Operations in 2015.
Her role with the Fresno State volleyball team includes overseeing game management, coordinating with officials, game day operations, managing practice times, coordinating team travel, overseeing the budget, assisting with on campus recruiting, community outreach and assisting with camp needs.
As a student-athlete, Wild wrapped up one of the Bulldog's most successful volleyball careers in 2013 and was tapped to take part in the U.S. Women's Volleyball National Team Open Tryouts held in February 2014 at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colo. Wild was one of 248 athletes and 61 outside hitters competing for a spot on the U.S. Women's National Team and/or U.S. Collegiate National Team
In July 2014, she signed her first professional contract with the Vannes Volleyball Club located in Vannes, France, one of the top club teams in the French Division I group.
Capped her four-year Bulldog career as one of the program's most talented and hardest-working players, ranking top six for all-time aces per set, aces, digs and kills. At the end of her senior season, she ranked top 20 in kills (second, 3.77 / 63rd NCAA), points (2nd, 4.24 p/s), aces (sixth, 0.30 p/s) and digs (20th, 2.57 p/s), and also stood top 80 nationally in kills (63rd) and points (76th).
Her most notable career accomplishments included being named All-MW (2013), Preseason All-Conference (2013), second team All-WAC (2012), Mountain West Player of the Week (2012) and four all-tournament honors during her collegiate career - Fresno State Classic (2013), Portland Nike Invitational (2013), UTEP All-Tournament (2012) and Fresno State Classic (2011).
Wild's dedication in the classroom was equally as prominent as her success on the court as she was a two-time Academic All-Mountain West selection (2012, '13) and two-time Academic All-WAC honoree (2010, '11).
The Kingsburg, Calif., native attended Sanger High School as a three-time varsity letterwinner and County Metro Athletic Conference Most Valuable Player. She is the daughter of Dan and Cindy Wild, and has two brothers, Jake and Jordan and two sisters, Jessica and Katie, all of which competed in college athletics.
