Fresno State Head Volleyball Coach Leisa Rosen has announced the additions of Carly DeHoog to the Bulldogs' staff ahead of the 2026 season.
DeHoog brings nearly a decade of high-level playing experience to the Bulldogs after a standout collegiate career at the University of Washington and a successful professional career across Europe.
DeHoog most recently competed professionally in Europe, where she played in Sweden, Poland, France and Italy. During her international career, she helped Itas Trentino earn promotion from Italy's Serie A2 to Serie A1 after a runner-up finish in league play while also capturing a bronze medal in the Italian Cup A2. She also helped RC Cannes reach the 2022 French Cup final, earning a silver medal.
While competing in Sweden, DeHoog established herself as one of the league's premier players. She was named the 2019 Swedish Elitserien Best Opposite after leading Örebro VBS to a runner-up finish in league play. She also earned Best Scorer and Best Opposite honors while helping the club claim a silver medal in the 2019 Swedish Cup.
Before beginning her professional career, DeHoog enjoyed an accomplished four-year career at the University of Washington from 2014-17. After redshirting her first season, she developed into one of the nation's top right-side hitters and capped her career with a breakout senior campaign.
In 2017, DeHoog earned AVCA Third Team All-America honors, Volleyball Magazine Second Team All-America recognition, All-Pac-12 honors and AVCA All-Pacific North Region accolades after leading the Huskies with 349 kills and averaging 2.88 kills per set while hitting a team-best .305. She helped Washington reach the NCAA Tournament and established herself as one of the nation's top right-side hitters, recording double-digit kills in 17 matches during her senior season.
During her career, DeHoog was a member of Washington's 2016 Pac-12 Championship team that advanced to the NCAA Elite Eight and helped the Huskies make four consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances. She also earned Pac-12 All-Academic honorable mention recognition twice.
A native of Upland, California, DeHoog graduated from the University of Washington after a decorated collegiate career that established her as one of the conference's top attackers before continuing her success on the professional stage.
