Holly Elsbernd was promoted to serve as Fresno State's Assistant Athletics Director for Student-Athlete Services in October 2022.

Elsbernd joined the Fresno State Department of Athletics in Oct. 2017 as an athletic academic advisor and has previously worked as an assistant director and then associate director for her latest promotion.

Elsbernd has advised multiple sport programs, including men’s basketball, women’s equestrian and women’s swimming and diving, and meets regularly with student-athletes and coaches monitoring academic progress and success.

Elsbernd was a Fresno State equestrian student-athlete from 2009-12 and has received two degrees from Fresno State – a bachelor’s degree in sociology in 2012 and a master’s degree in counseling, student affairs and college counseling in 2014.
