Randy Rigali serves as Executive Director and Assistant Athletic Director for Development at Fresno State, providing leadership and strategic direction for the Bulldog Foundation and the department’s comprehensive fundraising efforts. In this role, he leads initiatives that support student-athletes and Bulldog Athletics, including annual giving, major gifts, capital campaigns, premium seating and parking, NIL initiatives, and special fundraising programs. He also serves as an active member of the department’s Senior Leadership Team.
Since joining Fresno State in December 2024, Rigali has helped lead two consecutive record-breaking fundraising years, with significant growth across capital campaigns, Valley Co-Op (NIL), annual giving, and facility projects, including the Meyers Family Sports Medicine Center Nutrition Lounge. He works closely with donors, alumni, corporate partners, and the Bulldog Foundation Board of Directors to strengthen relationships and generate philanthropic support that advances the mission of Bulldog Athletics.
Rigali also helped launch Valley Fueled, a gift-in-kind initiative that enables Central Valley farmers and agricultural partners to donate food directly to Fresno State student athletes. In addition, the Bulldog Foundation launched Valley Co-Op, a new giving initiative that allows fans and partners to direct philanthropic support to specific sports as college athletics enters the revenue-sharing era.
In addition to his development responsibilities, Rigali serves as the day-to-day sport administrator for Fresno State women’s soccer and provides leadership for Club Red, the department’s student-athlete alumni organization. He is passionate about creating meaningful experiences for donors and supporters while building a culture of philanthropy that directly enhances the student-athlete experience.
Rigali brings more than a decade of experience in collegiate athletics and professional sports, with expertise spanning development, ticketing, premium seating, sales, event operations, and corporate partnerships. Prior to Fresno State, he served as Assistant Director of Ticket Sales & Service at Long Beach State, where he helped drive significant increases in revenue, attendance, season-ticket sales, and group-ticket sales across men’s and women’s volleyball, men’s and women’s basketball, soccer, softball, and baseball. His professional experience also includes positions with the Los Angeles Angels, UC Irvine, Azusa Pacific University, San Francisco Giants, and the University of San Francisco.
A former four-year student-athlete on the men’s soccer team at California State University, Monterey Bay, Rigali earned a bachelor’s degree in communication with a concentration in Journalism. During his undergraduate career, he gained professional experience with KSBW Action News and the Monterey Herald. He later earned a master’s degree in Sport Management from the University of San Francisco. Rigali and his wife, Lorren, live in Fresno with their son, Jude.
