Paul Loeffler serves as the lead play-by-play voice of Fresno State Athletics and is one of the most recognizable and respected broadcasters in the history of the Bulldogs. As part of Bulldog Sports Enterprises, Loeffler will continue calling Fresno State football, men's basketball, and baseball as the Bulldogs embark on a new era in the Pac-12 Conference.
A Central Valley native from Los Banos, Loeffler has been the voice of Fresno State baseball since 2001, men's basketball since the 2008-09 season, and football since 2009. Over more than two decades behind the microphone, he has narrated many of the most iconic moments in Bulldog history, including Fresno State's unforgettable 2008 national championship run in baseball, when the Bulldogs became the lowest-seeded team ever to win the College World Series.
Known for his passion, storytelling, and deep connection to the Red Wave, Loeffler has become synonymous with Fresno State Athletics. His broadcasts have helped generations of Bulldog fans experience the excitement and tradition of Fresno State competition, making him a trusted and familiar voice throughout the Central Valley and beyond.
Beyond athletics, Loeffler is an accomplished broadcaster and dedicated community leader. He hosts Hometown Heroes, a radio program honoring American veterans, and is the founder of Central Valley Honor Flight, a nonprofit organization that transports local veterans to Washington, D.C., to visit the memorials built in their honor. He also serves as a longtime national broadcaster for the Scripps National Spelling Bee.
