Meredith Jenkins has served as Fresno State’s Deputy Director of Athletics since August 13, 2018.
Jenkins will provide leadership commensurate with that of a traditional Deputy Athletic Director. She will also have oversight and lead the managerial responsibility for the internal units within Fresno State Athletics. In addition, Jenkins will coordinate university governance within the department.
Prior to Fresno State, Jenkins served at Auburn University as the Tigers’ Executive Associate Athletics Director/Senior Woman Administrator. As a member of the Executive Leadership Team, she led the strategic planning and management efforts of the department, which included the oversight of a $140 million dollar budget.
Jenkins also chaired the Sports Administrator Committee, which developed best practices and procedures at Auburn. She also served on the NCAA Soccer Committee including two terms as chair from 2011-12, several SEC committees including the Executive Committee, and was the recipient of the Auburn University Women of Distinction Award in 2010.
