The Fresno State lacrosse program welcomed Kara Concheck back to its program as an assistant coach on Aug. 19, 2019. Concheck was named interim head coach on Jan. 8, 2020 and was promoted to head coach on Nov. 1, 2020.

While at the helm of the program, Concheck led a Bulldog team that produced five All-MPSF selections, the conference Rookie of the Year, 24 academic All-MPSF selections, four All-MPSF Tournament team selections, and nine MPSF players of the week.

In her first season as head coach of the Fresno State lacrosse team, Concheck maneuvered through some of the toughest circumstances as a head coach. With only 18 active student-athletes on the roster, Concheck and the Bulldogs pursued to advance to their first-ever Mountain Pacific Sports Federation championship game in 2021.

Concheck coached up five All-MPSF selections in the 2021 season, including the conference’s Rookie of the Year in Logann Eldredge. In the second year under Concheck’s leadership, the Bulldogs continued to set program and individual records. Fresno State took its most shots, scored its most hat tricks, and won its most draw controls in a game that season.

As individuals in 2021, Concheck coached student-athletes who recorded top 5 single game program records in all stat categories. She also assisted in getting student-athletes to break all-time career program and personal bests.

In her first season as interim head coach, Concheck led the program to eight individual, program and MPSF broken records. The 2020 season was cut short due to the coronavirus pandemic, but the Bulldogs managed to create a historic season in just eight games.

Concheck returned to the Bulldog family after spending four seasons (2016-19) as head coach at Saint Francis. She became the program's all-time winningest coach in 2018 and won 21 games in her tenure at the helm of the Red Flash.

As head coach for the Red Flash, Concheck boasted a team that sat highly in all offensive categories in the Northeast Conference. She also developed eight all-conference selections in her four years.

She was the assistant coach at Saint Francis for the beginning of the 2016 season, assisting the head coach in planning and executing practice plans and individual skill sessions. She worked primarily with the attack and midfield positions, and specialized in draw control drills.

She coached three players to be top 10 in the NCAA in draw controls per game, ground balls per game and caused turnovers per game at SFU.

Prior to her time at Saint Francis, Concheck was named a lacrosse assistant coach at Oberlin College. She spent one full season there in 2015, and helped the team to a North Coast Athletic Conference championship appearance in 2015. At Oberlin, Concheck coached the NCAC Defensive Player of the Year, six all-conference selections and two all-region athletes.

During her time at Oberlin College, she also taught a women's strength training course.

Concheck coached the Major Force Lacrosse Club in Columbus, Ohio from 2014-18. She has also coached at several clinics, including the Penn State Elite Camp, James Madison Elite Camp, Stanford Elite Camp, and others, since 2014. Concheck was also the coach of Team Maryland in 2016, and Team Pennsylvania in 2018. She won the Brine All-American Cup Championship with Team Pennsylvania.

Concheck graduated from Fresno State in 2014 and spent four years in the lacrosse program. Concheck left the Bulldog lacrosse program as the all-time leading scorer with 73 career goals and 85 career points. Her offensive efforts did not go unnoticed as she was selected to the All-MPSF second team in 2014 and was named the team's Offensive Player of the Year that season. Fresno State student-athlete bio.
