Women's Basketball Bounces Back to Defeat Drexel 66-47
12/30/1999 12:00:00 AM | Women's Basketball
Lewis?s double-double was her seventh of the year and sixth in the last seven games. After failing to score in double figures for the first time of the year in last night?s 76-68 loss to Mt. St. Mary?s, the senior took control of the game early, scoring 10 points and adding eight rebounds by halftime. She is now six double-doubles away from setting a new Fresno State single-season record.
Lindsay Logan also was in double figures in two categories, scoring 10 points and dishing out 10 assists. It is the fourth time this year she has accomplished that. Also in double figures for the Bulldogs was Amanda Baker, who chipped in 11.
Fresno State shot the ball well from the floor the entire game. It finished with a 55 percent shooting percentage. As hot as FS was, Drexel was just as cold. The Dragons shot only 26 percent in the game.
FS returns to action on Tuesday, when it hosts Long Beach State at the North Gym. Game time is 7 p.m. Call (559) 278-DOGS for ticket information.
