Fresno State finished fourth in its own volleyball invitational with a final 1-3 tournament mark. Junior DS Leilua Satele was the lone Fresno State representative on the all-tournament team. It was her first career selection. Fresno State concluded tournament action with a three-game loss (15-13, 15-12, 15-7) to tournament runner-up Cal Poly. In that match, senior OH Anamie Buckelew led the 'Dogs in kills (20) while freshman MB Lindsay Closs added 15. Fresno State will be back in action next weekend, Sept. 17-18, in San Francisco at the USF/Golden Gate Classic. The Bulldogs will meet CS Fullerton on Friday, Sept. 17, at 5 pm. On Saturday, Fresno State will battle Penn (1 pm) and host San Francisco (7 pm). That tournament trip is the beginning of a five match roadswing. Fresno State will be back at home on Tuesday, Sept. 28, to take on preseason No. 2 pick Stanford at 7 pm.
