FRESNO, Calif. – The Fresno State volleyball team announced its 2026 fall non-conference schedule this week, featuring four tournaments ahead of Pac-12 play.
The Bulldogs will open the preseason with exhibition matches at UC Santa Barbara on Aug. 15 and at home against Cal Baptist in the North Gym on Aug. 22. Fresno State will also host its annual Red vs. Blue intersquad match at the Save Mart Center on Aug. 18. Admission to both exhibitions and the intersquad match is free and open to the public.
Fresno State officially opens the regular season at the Ohio State Tournament from Aug. 28-30, where the Bulldogs will face Northern Kentucky, Bowling Green and Ohio State — the alma mater of Fresno State Head Coach Leisa Rosen.
The Bulldogs then return home to host a three-day tournament at the Save Mart Center from Sept. 3-5, welcoming UC Irvine, New Mexico State and Southern Utah.
In week three, Fresno State travels to Southern California for the Ridge Invitational, hosted by CSUN from Sept. 11-13. The field also includes San Francisco and former conference rival UNLV.
The Bulldogs will wrap up non-conference play at Saint Mary's in Moraga, California, with matches against former Mountain West foe New Mexico and host Saint Mary's.
